HERBERT LAUGHTON (1887 - 1950)
Herbert (no middle name) the father of Norman Bruce Laughton who provided this
information. Herbert emigrated to the USA from his birthplace in
Walkerton, Ontario, where he then met and married Gladys Isabel Nichols in 1912.
Herbert and Gladys had seven sons and two daughters, the last Norm says
"was appropriately named Dot".
When the information from Uncle Paul (Paul Laughton 1923) arrived via his son
David in February 2009 there was a package of information from Diane Eden (nee
Laughton) dating back to communications in 1981. Diane is the granddaughter of
Herbert Laughton and daughter of Herbert's 7th son Raymond, thus niece to Norman
Bruce Laughton.
