Second child of Jerome Laughton 1834
and first daughter. Born January 9, 1881, so that would have been in
Walkerton, Ontario.
Unknown if this is the same child that is reported
to have "died young".
Suggested buried at family plot in Walkerton
Cemetery. Age at death reported as 10 years.
There is no confirmation as to Ida's burial in
Walkerton. There is a question as to whether she may be in the
"unmarked plot" that was owned by Jerome Laughton that has no
markers. There are no other names on the Jerome Laughton grave stone
other than Jerome and his wife Jean.
