Cemetery Finding Aid - you can enter a name (see: search
function) and find where the person is buried and a link (reference) to
who obtained the records. For example, John Hugh Laughton shows up as
being in the Parkhill Union Cemetery and it tells us that the reference
comes from MX-086 (that translates to the London
& Middlesex County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. You
can fire through the Parkhill names quite quickly, then you find some
interesting ones such as Harry V and Mary E (Buckleey) who are listed as
being in the Bellville
Mausoleum along with their son, whose fill name I did not know (Barent
Powell Laughton). |
The new LDS Pilot Project also contains the Ontario Death Records for 1869 -
1947 which provides a wealth of information to Ontario members of the Laughton
Clan:
